Pupils were sent home from two North-east schools when the centralheating systems failed.
A boiler malfunction at Banff Academy saw pupils sent home at10am.
The school had no water or heating yesterday until engineersreplaced a valve.
The school's 1,073 pupils were expected to attend as normal today.
While Skene Primary in Westhill ran out of gas leaving theschool's 30 pupils with no heating or cooking facilities.
Supplies were topped up and the school was expected to be open asnormal today.
