A Republican state senator Monday published a study he says undermines Gov. Mario Cuomo's oft-repeated claim that New York's economic problems are the fault of national and regional trends.
Sen. Joseph Bruno, R-Brunswick, chairman of the Legislative Commission on Public-Private Cooperation, served up statistics showing that New York's economy has performed worse than those of neighboring states for the eight years Cuomo has been in office.
