FED: Tearful mouners gather for Hickey's funeral

WALGETT, NSW, Feb 24 AAP - Tearful relatives filed behind the coffin of Thomas Hickey
as hundreds of mourners farewelled the teenager in the outback NSW town of Walgett today.

Meanwhile, in Sydney's Redfern, where the 17-year-old's death sparked a riot last week,
extra police were on duty as Aborigines prepared to march on a police station and hold
a wake.

Busloads of mourners went to Walgett from Sydney for today's funeral at St Peter's
Anglican Church.
