Race: Makybe Diva's filly fetches $1.2 million

Melbourne Cup-winning trainer MARK KAVANAGH has paid 1.2 million for MAKYBE DIVA'S
second foal at the opening session of the Australian Easter Yearling Sale in Sydney.

The brisk bidding on the FUSAICHI PEGASUS filly began at half a million.

KAVANAGH said he's bought the filly on behalf of stable clients .. but there are still
shares available.

He says she's the nicest filly he's seen.

The first foal out of three-time Melbourne Cup winner Makybe Diva was a Galileo colt
.. who sold for 1.5 million at last year's Easter Sale.
